Scope and Content

A volume containing vakfiyes of the Köprülü family, including the following:. ff. 3v-4r : A title page and table of contents for the volume. ff. 4v-30v : Vakfiye of the Grand Vizier Köprülü Mehmet Paşa, dated 1070 AH (1659-60 CE). ff. 31r-63v : Another vakfiye of the Grand Vizier Köprülü Mehmet Paşa, dated 1070 AH (1659-60 CE). ff. 64r-132v : A vakfiye of the son of the aforementioned Grand Vizier, Fazıl Ahmet Paşa, dated 1089 AH (1678-79 CE). This includes a list of the manuscripts that comprise his vakıf, found on ff. 78v-122v. ff. 133r-140r; ff. 140r-143v; and ff.143v-145v : The vakfiye of Ayşe Hanım, the mother of Şehit Köprülüzade Mustafa Paşa (d. 1102 AH / 1690-91 CE). The last two of these documents are dated 1102 AH (1690-91 CE) and 1107 AH (1695-96 CE) respectively. ff. 146r-164v : Vakfiye of the Vizier Şehit Abdullah Paşa, son of Mustafa Paşa, dated 1133 AH (1720-21 CE). The manuscript was copied in the 18th century with annotations in the margins to indicate the various items made vakıf.
