Scope and Content

This volume contains an Arabic commentary by ʿAbd al-Qādir ibn ʿUmar Baghdādī (1030-93 AH/1621-82 CE; VIAF ID: 46917189) upon the Tuhfe-yi Şahidi, a Persian-Ottoman Turkish vocabulary in mesnevi form by İbrahim Şahidi Dede of Muğla (died 957 AH/1550 CE). This manuscript was copied by Osman Rıfat and was completed 17 Cemaziülahir 1177 (17 December 1763 CE).
