Scope and Content

This volume contains the collected poetry of Baki (died 1008 AH/1600 CE). The divan begins with a kaside, followed by gazeller (f 29v), and then gazeller in Persian (ff 110r-v). After these come kıt'aat (ff 111r-113r). The text contains a single unvan. The name of the copyist appears on f 28r as Mahmud İbn-i Şeyh Ömer Dergüzini who, according to Karatay, was alive in 976 AH (1568-69 CE). The manuscript was therefore likely copied in the late 16th century.
