Scope and Content

This volume contains an Ottoman Turkish translation of the Taẕkirat al-avliyā (تذكرة الاوليا) of Farīd al-Dīn ᶜaṭṭār containing 28 biographies from Jaᶜfar al-Ṣādiq to Sahl al-Tustarī. The translation is that of Sinan Paşa (died 891 AH/1486 CE). The work begins with a table of contents (ff 1v-2r). This manuscript was copied in 955 AH (1548-49 CE).
