Scope and Content

This volume contains the collected fetava of Şeyh-ül-İslâm Çatalcalı Ali Efendi (born 1041 AH/1631-32 CE; died 1103 AH/1692 CE, only a few months after his appointment to Şeyh-ül-İslâm). The text contains marginal notes throughout, and there is slight water staining in the upper and lower margins at the edge. The work contains a table of contents (ff 1v-6r), as well as a small title unvan in gold. The text begins on f 9v, and the folios from 6v to 8r have been left blank. This manuscript is undated, but was likely copied in the late 18th century or early 19th century CE.
