Scope and Content

This volume contains the collected biographies of poets active between 1000-1051 AH (1591-1641 CE) compiled by Seyit Mehmet Rıza (Zehrimarzade). The date of completion of the text (1050 AH/1639-40 CE) appears in a couplet at the end. A table of contents for the work is included on f 45r and continued on the binding. The manuscript was copied in 1056 AH (1646-47 CE).
