Scope and Content

The five moral mesneviler composed by Nevizade Atayi (died 1045 AH/1635-36 CE) and known collective as the Hamse-yi Atayi are included in this volume, as well as a portion of his Divan:. ff 1v-69r : Sohbetü'l-ebkâr, in which the last lines differ those found in all the copies in THK;. ff 69v-134r : Nefhatü'l-ezhar, with the same opening as the copy described on p. 156 of the THK;. ff 134v-190v : Heft han, with final lines that differ from all the copies listed in the THK;. ff 191r-193v : Hilyetü'l-efkâr;. ff 193v-225r : Alem-nüma;. ff 225r-226r : Short poems from the Divan. This volume was copied in 1168 AH (1754-55 CE) by Mehmet Şerif İbn-i Haccı Mehmet Sadik Behbehani and includes three unvans.
