Scope and Content

This volume contains the following two Divans :. ff 1v-40r : Divan-i Niyazi-yi Mısri, the collected poetry of Şeyh Mehmet Niyazi (died 1105 AH/1693-94 CE). The poems consist of gazeller in alphabetical order, some of which bear the mahlas of Mısri as well as Niyazi;. ff 41v-87v : Kadı Divani, the poetical works of Kadı (17th century CE?). After two benedictory couplets, the poems begin with a na't, followed by gazeller on f 44v. Both texts are copied in the same hand. The manuscript was copied by el-Hacc Ahmet, Bende-yi Bosnevi el-Hacc Mehmet Efendi called Acemzade of the Halveti Order, resident at Hezargrad (today Razgrad, Bulgaria) in 1282 AH (1865-66 CE).
