Pricking and Ruling: Number of lines vary. No catchwords. Script: Divani script and siyakat numerals. Binding: Original brown morocco binding with small blind-tooled central medallion; worn and with old repairs.

Scope and Content

This volume contains a taxation ledger covering several Ottoman provinces and containing accounts for the year 1071 AH/1660-1 CE. The regions covered are: ff 1r-8v, Konya and Niğde; 11r-14v, Kayseri; 19r-25v, Beyşehir, Kırşehir, Aksaray; 29r-59v, Sivas; 61r-67v, Amasya; 71r-77v, Canik; 80r-91r, Çorum and Bozok; 95r-146r, Ayntab (Gaziantep), Malatya, Maraş (Kahramanmaraş), and Kars. Many pages of the volume are blank except for the marking 'beyaz,' which is written horizontally.
