This volume contains the following two works :. (I) ff 3v-106r : Gülşen-i Raz, an Ottoman Turkish paraphrase of the Gulshān-i rāz of Maḥmūd Shabistarī made by Elvan-i Şirazi, together with a table of contents (ff 1v-2v). The work was copied by Ahmet İbn-i Hacci İbrahim in 925 AH (1519-20 AH);. (II) ff 108v-142r : Risale-i Gülşeni, a poem written by Gülşeni in 864 AH (1459-60 CE) and dedicated to Mehmet II, consisting of a series of discourses on various ethical points, illustrated by anecdotes in the manner of Sa'di. This text was copied in the same hand and at the same time as text I.
