Scope and Content

This volume contains a commentary on the Qaṣīdat al-burdah (قصيدة البردة) of Abū ᶜabdullāh Muḥammad ibn Saᶜīd al-Būṣīrī (died 694 AH/1294-95 CE or 696 AH/1296-97 CE) by Seyit Ahmet İbn-i Mustafa known as Lali (died 971 AH/1563-64 CE).The translator gives each verse in both Ottoman Turkish and Persian, together with an Ottoman Turkish interlinear version. The text contains a single unvan. This manuscript is not dated, but was likely copied in the early 17th century CE.
