Scope and Content

This volume contains the collated poetry of Ulvi (died 993 AH/1585-86 CE). It is imperfect at the beginning and opens in the middle of a kaside. The longer poems continue with more kasideler, tasdisat and other forms, until f 71r, when the gazeller begin. The Divan ends with a gazel rhyming in nun. The date 1145 AH (1732-33 CE) appears on an interpolated folio (f 66), and a note at the beginning gives the date 1255 AH (1839-40 CE). Corrections in a hand different from the main text can be found throughout. The folios of this volume have been mounted on guards. This manuscript was likely copied in the 18th century CE.
