Scope and Content

This volume contains a treatise on diseases and their remedies written for Selim II by Derviş Nidai. It is a compilation made from various medical works, both in Arabic and Persian, and is divided into 61 ebvap. The text in this copy, however, breaks off deliberately in what corresponds to Bab 36 in other copies of this work, but in all there are only 31 bab, the last of which do not have the number indicted. In other manuscripts of this text, there are 60 ebvap. This manuscript is undated, but there is a note giving the date 1203 AH (1788-89 CE) on the last folio, and it is likely that this manuscript was copied around this time.
