Scope and Content

This volume contains the collected poetical works of Kaşif (Mehmet Saadeddin Efendi) (died 1111 AH/1699-1700 CE). The text begins with münacat, followed by na't and kasideler. The gazeller begin on f 19r. This section includes several nazireler on Şevket and Sayıp. The last sections of the Divan are rubaiyat (ff 30v-31r), matali' (ff 31r-v); chronograms (ff 31v-33v) giving the dates 1098 AH (1686-87 CE), 1105 AH (1693-94 CE), and 1108 AH (1696-97 CE); and a lağz (ff 33v-34r). The text contains two unvans and seals dated 1179 AH (1765-66 CE), 1194 AH (1780 CE), and 1208 AH (1793-94 CE). The manuscript was likely copied in the 18th century CE.
