This volume contains an Ottoman Turkish translation of five fusul of the first book of the Muqaddimah (المقدمة) of Ibn Khaldūn made by Mehmet Sahip Pirizade, a Şeyh-ül-İslam who died in 1162 AH (1748-49 CE). The text contains a single unvan. This manuscript was copied by Hasan el-Kırımi el-Sahhaf in 1261 AH (1845-46 CE).
