Scope and Content

This volume contains an abridged version of the Silahşörname, a work on the handling of weapons based on an Arabic-language original from Egypt. The author of the text is the well-known Uzun Firdevsi, who lived in the time of Bayezit II. This manuscript was likely copied in the 16th century CE.
