This rare and unusually decorated MS. was commissioned by the Ottoman governor of Bosnia, Şerīf Selīm Paşa ibn Şerīf Yūsuf Beg. Dated 1240/1824. Copied by el-Ḥācc 'Alī Ḥāfıẓ el-Bosnevī.

Ink : Black ink with occasional red catchwords or titles; some pages have been painted with various coloured inks outside of the text boxes. Watermark : (Italian?) watermark visible on some pages. Binding : Original binding: green silk covers, decorated with paper cut-out (kat'î) arabesques and floral motifs; doublures and flyleaves of marbled paper with similar or better ornamentation.
