Scope and Content

This volume contains the compiled poetry of the Mevlevi Derviş Mehmed Esrar Dede (died 1211 AH/1796-97 CE). He is also known for having written the Tezkire-yi Şuara-yi Mevleviye. . The Divan opens with a na't, and is followed by other na'tlar and kasideler (ff 1v-11v). Then come müseddesat (ff 17r-17v), and mürebbaat (ff 17v-20r). Next is a terkibibent (ff 20v-21r), terciibentler (ff 21r-27r), and chronograms (ff 27v-30r). These are followed by the gazeller (ff 31v-102v). Towards the end of the volume come the mukattaat (ff 102v-104r), rubaiyat (ff 104v-115v), and ebyat (f 116r). The concluding section features mesneviler, which include the Mübarekname, Fütüvvetname, and the Hikayet-i manzume. This manuscript was copied in Şaban 1204 AH (April-May 1790 CE) by Derviş Mustafa Mevlevi.
