Scope and Content

This volume contains humorous and satirical poems by Süruri Osman Efendi Hezzal, who had the mahlas of Havai (died 1229 AH/1813-14 CE). The collection consists of gazeller (ff 1-17v; and ff 55v-56r); chronograms (ff 17v-32r), ranging in date from 1187 AH (1773-74 CE) to 1219 AH (1804-05 CE); and mukattaat (ff 32v-55v). The manuscript was likely copied in the 19th century CE.
