Scope and Content

This volume contains a collection of fetava (fetvalar) by Veli İbn-i Yusuf, mostly those of Ebussuud Efendi, although there are also fetava by Ahmet Çelebi Efendi Kemalpaşazade, Çivizade Efendi Şeyh Mehmet İbn-i İlyas, Sa'di Çelebi Efendi and Ali Çelebi Cemali. The fetava are arranged according to the traditional order of subject in works of jurisprudence. A table of contents is found on f 1r. The manuscript has been incorrectly lettered as 'Muh. Kasim. Farhang-i Sururi. Persian.'. The text was copied in 1015 AH (1606-07 CE).
