Scope and Content

This volume contains the following texts :. ff 2v-5r : A portion of the Divan-i İsmeti (died 1076 AH/1665-66 CE) (2v-5r) containing a na't, followed by another na't and kasideler in raise of Sultan Mehmet IV (ff 4r-v); a kıt'a (f 5r) and a latif (f 5r);. ff 6v-50v : Divan-i Ali Şehri, Malatyalı, beginning with a beyt, followed by a terciibent (ff 6v-8r), na't mixed with kasideler (ff 8r-20r), including a Bahariye (f 10v). Some of the kasideler are in praise of Gürcü Mehmet Paşa. Afterward, there is another terkibibent (f 20r), two mesneviler entitled Name-yi Mektup (ff 21v-22v), chronograms (ff 22v-24v) and gazeller (ff 25v-47v), rubaiyat (ff 47v-49r), a kıt'a and müfredat (ff 49r-v). At the end of the volume is a chronogram giving the date 1068 AH (1657-58 CE), composed by Vecdi (died 1071 AH/1660-61 CE) and a poem in praise of the Reis-ül Küttab Şamizade by the same author. The text contains two unvans. The manuscript was likely copied in the 18th century CE.
