Scope and Content

This volume contains the well-known allegorical mesnevi by Galip Dede (Mehmet Esat, died 1213 AH/1798-99 CE). The date of composition of the poem (1192 AH/1778-79 CE) is provided in the form of a chronogram at the end of the text. The text contains a single unvan. The manuscript was copied by Derviş İbrahim, likely at the beginning of the 19th century CE.
