This volume contains an Ottoman Turkish paraphrase of the mystical poem Gulshan-i rāz of Maḥmūd Shabistarī made by Elvan-i Şirazi. On f 6r there is a note to the effect that the work was written by Şirazi for Sultan Murat II. the latter portion of the manuscript (ff 109r-119r) is in a nesih hand only partly vocalized and is dated 891 AH (1486 CE). This differs from the rather cursive vocalized nesih in which the rest of the manuscript has been transcribed. Yet another hand is featured in the text found on ff 35v-40v, which is completely vocalized. These hands are of approximately the same date as the last ten folios, or slightly earlier.
