Scope and Content

This volume contains the compiled poetry of Mehmet Nazmi (died 1112 AH/1700-01 CE), consisting of kasideler and longer poems (ff 1v-34r), followed by gazeller (ff 35v-75r), chronograms, mostly of events in the reign of Sultan İbrahim (reigned 1640-48 CE), and quatrains (ff 77r-78v). At the end of the manuscript are some Persian gazeller (ff 78v-81r). This manuscript is undated, but was likely copied towards the end of the 17th century CE.
