This volume contains an account of the peace negotiations at the conclusion of the war of 1148-52 AH (1735-40 CE) between the Ottoman Empire, Austria and Russia. It also deals, to some extent, with the peace that was unfavourable to the Ottomans. The author, Mehmet Subhi, wrote this work on the order of the Grand Vezir Hacı Mehmet Paşa and it is dedicated to Mahmur I. The author is said to have died in 1183 AH (1769-70 CE). On the basis of a note on the first folio reading 'Tarih-i Belgrad-i Dar ul-cihad', the spine has been lettered 'Ta'rīkh i Belghrād'. This manuscript was likely copied in the mid-18th century CE.
