Scope and Content

This volume contains the Melheme be-nazm-i Cevri Çelebi be-tarz-ı cedid, a recension by İbrahim Cevri Çelebi of Yazıcı Salaheddin's Şemsiye, a mesnevi treatise, translated from the Persian original on the art of prognostication from meteorological phenomena. Katip Çelebi gives the name of the present work as Melheme. This manuscript was copied by Ebu Bekir and dated Rebiülahir 1079 AH (September-October 1668 CE).
