This volume contains an Ottoman Turkish translation of a detailed treatise on astrology by Muḥammad Sharīf Bakrī that, according to Storey, was likely composed in the 12th century CE. The name of the translator, Abdülaziz, appears on f 12v where he states that he is private physician, presumably to Mustafa III (reigned 1757-73 CE), to whom the work is dedicated. The text consists of 5 ebvap subdivided into numerous fusul. There is a table of contents at the beginning (ff 1v-10v). On the basis of a work with the same title (likely spurious), the author has been incorrectly given on the spine as 'Abu Saᶜīd Aḥmad b. Muḥ al-Sanjarī'. The text contains a single unvan. This manuscript is undated, but was likely copied in the 19th century CE.
