Scope and Content

This volume contains the poetic works of Fıtnat, a female poet who died in 1194 AH (1780 CE). The work begins with a na't, followed by a tahmis on a na't of Es'at Efendi (f 2r); Kaside-yi Bahriye (f 5r); and other similar poems (ff 6r-v); chronograms (ff 7r-29v) and gazeller (ff 30v-42v). Then comes a müseddes (f 42v) and a tahmis on a gazel of Cevri (f 43r), elğaz and şarkılar (ff 43v-45r), mukataat ve murabbaat (ff 45r-46r), müfredat (ff 46r-v), muammayat (ff 46v-48v), Gazeliyat-i nevakıs (ff 48v-49v) and lastly more müfredat (ff 49v-50r). The text contains two unvans. The manuscript was copied in 1201 AH (1786-87 CE) by Mir Muhyi.
