Scope and Content

This volume contains an exposition of the rules of poetry by Süruri-yi Acem (Mustafa Muslihiddin, died 969 AH/1561-62 CE). The work, which was compiled in 956 AH (1549-50 CE), consists of a preface, 3 makalat, and a hatime. At the end of the volume, there is the horoscope (tali'-i mevlut) of Süruri. The manuscript was copied in 1209 AH (1794-95 CE).
