This volume contains an anonymous Ottoman Turkish version of the Bāh-nāmah, a Persian work on erotica compiled by Shaykh Muḥammad ibn Muṣṭafá al-Maᶜarrī (died 821 AH/1418-19 CE), incorporating additional matter and anecdotes from other works in this category. The text contains a single unvan. There are also two magic squares with numbers in pencil on the final folios of the volume. The date given in the colophon (846 AH/1442-43 CE, both in numerals and letters) has obviously been supplied at a later date as the manuscript is obviously not as early as this date. Moreover, the name of Kâtip Çelebi is given in the preface of the work. Judging from the general appearance of the manuscript, the original date of transcription was 1246 AH (1830-31 CE).
