Scope and Content

This volume contains the following two Divans :. (I) ff 2v-69v : The divan of Uncuzade Mustafa Çelebi (died 1048 AH/1648-49 CE) and known as Fehim. It begins with a na't, after which the kasideler and other long poems follow, with the gazeller starting on f 24v. The divan ends with chronograms (ff 64r-66r), the first of which relates to the capture of Baghdad, and finally rubaiyat (ff 66r-69r);. (II) ff 70v-97r : The divan of Şehri (died 1071 AH/1660-61 CE), which begins with a rubai, followed by a na't and kasideler (ff 70v-79v). The gazeller occupy ff 79v-94v. These are followed by rubaiyat (ff 94v-95r), matali (ff 95r-v), chronograms (ff 95v-97r) interspersed by three Persian gazeller, and ending with two kıt'alar. The text contains a single unvan. The manuscript was likely copied in the 18th century CE.
