    • 1 text 249 ff Material : Paper. Foliation : European, 249 ff. Dimensions : 165 mm x 105 mm. Ruling : 17 lines. Script : Nesih. Binding : French binding in calf leather dating from the late 18th or early 19th century CE, with the words ''Offrande de l'amitié'' embossed on the front.

Scope and Content

This volume contains a free translation from the Arabic of the 21st tract of the Rasā'il ikhwān al-ṣafā (رسائل اخوان الصفا), made by Lami'i Çelebi (Mahmud İbn-i Osman İbn-i İlyas). The text contains a medallion in gold and blue on f 2r and an unvan on f 2v. The volume suffers from slight staining on ff 1-4 and shows clear signs of repairs. This manuscript is undated, but was likely copied in the 17th century CE.
