This volume contains a collection of 49 sermons with a distinct Sufi perspective preached and afterwards collated by İzzeddin Ahmet Efendi Eşrefzade İbn-i Şeyh Eşref-i Sani (died 1152 AH/1739-40 CE). The author, who was the grandson (f 7v) of the famous Abdullah el-Rumi, also known as Eşrefoğlu or Eşrefzade, began preaching at the age of twelve in the tekke of his grandfather, whose words he frequently quotes. The author opens each sermon in Arabic and ends with explanations and quotations in Ottoman Turkish. The text contains a single unvan. This manuscript was likely copied in the 18th century CE.
