Scope and Content

This volume contains an Arabic text with marginal annotations on the division of the content. At the beginning of this volume (ff 1r-3r) are poems from the Dīvān-i Shams-i Tabrīz (ديوان شمس تبريز) and several in Ottoman Turkish, including a fragment of a poem in praise of Celaleddin Rumi and some verses by Sezai (died 1151 AH/1738-39 CE). The manuscript was copied in various hands in the 19th century CE.
