Scope and Content

This volume contains an Ottoman Turkish translation of the well-known Tales of the Parrot in a version made for Kanuni Sultan Süleyman according to the title, which is given in letters of gold in the unvan at the beginning of the text (tercüme-i Sultan Süleyman Şah). This manuscript is an autograph of the translator and was produced in 944 AH (1537-38 CE).
