This volume contains a versified Arabic-Ottoman Turkish vocabulary compiled by a certain Mahmud in 967 AH (1559-60 CE) according to a chronogram on f 39r. It is to all intents and purposes an elaborated version of the earlier Luğat-i Firişteoğlu (f 2r). The vocabulary is divided into 34 kıt'alar, each in a separate metre. Folio 38 has mistakenly been bound after f 31. The manuscript was copied in 997 AH (1588-89 CE).
