This volume contains a composite history of the Ottoman dynasty from 621 AH (1224-25 CE) until 1094 AH (1682-83 CE). The last event recorded is the Expedition to Vienna in 1682-83 CE). According to the title of the work (ff 1r-v) this is extracted from the Cihannüma (presumably of Kâtip Çelebi), but is really made up of several works, the greater part being an extract from Aşıkpaşazade. The work contains glosses here and there in French and Latin and numerous marginal notes in Ottoman Turkish in a European hand. It was probably copied for a French Dragoman in the 18th century CE.
