Scope and Content

This volume contains a mesnevi modelled on the Hayriye of Nabi composed by Sünbülzade Mehmet Vehbi (died 1224 AH/1809-10 CE) for the guidance of his son Lütfullah. The text exhibits some staining and water damage. This manuscript was copied by Abdülhamit el-Üsküdari in 1214 AH (1799-1800 CE).

There are several printed texts, some of which are found in editions of the Külliyat, but the work was published separately as Mehmet Sünbülzade Vehbi, Lütfiye-i Vehbi (Bulaq: Bulaq Matbaası, 1253 [1837]). Other editions appeared in 1252 AH (1836-37 CE), 1266 AH (1849-50 CE), and 1268 AH (1851-52 CE).
