Scope and Content

This volume contains the biographies of various Ottoman Turkish poets alongside extracts from their works. The original text was compiled in 953 AH (1546-47 CE) by Abdüllatif Çelebi, also known as Latifi. This manuscript was copied by Nasuh İbn-i Yusuf in 967 AH (1559-60 CE).
