Scope and Content

This volume contains the collected poetry of Ali Şehri Malatyalı (died 1071 CE/1660-61 CE). The Divan begins with a preface, followed by na't and kasideler (ff 1v-16r), including a bahariye (f 4v), a Şikayetname in the form of a kaside (f 8v), some kasideler being in praise of Seyit Mustafa Bey and Gürcü Mehmet Paşa, and ending with a terkibibent (ff 16v-18r). The gazeller begin on f 18r. The last section of the Divan consists of mukataat (ff 43r-48r) and a terciibent (ff 48v-50r). On the end papers are several poems including some by Nihani. The text contains one unvan. The manuscript was likely copied in the 18th century CE.
