Scope and Content

This volume contains the following three works:. (I) ff 2v-9r : A compilation of prayers (ed'iye) and litanies (evrat) of the Kadiriye Tarikat, without the name of the author provided;. (II) ff 9v-45v : An untitled Sufi work of a mainly anecdotal character, without the author's name provided. The name Meydani occurs several times in the text, which generally reflects popular Sufism;. (III) ff 46v-73v : Tuhfetü'l-uşşak, a work on Sufi doctrines (as well as elements of Shi'i doctrine) by Mehmet Niyazi, also known as Niyazi-yi Mısri (died 1105 AH/1694 CE). This manuscript is dated 9 l (Şeval?) 1241 ((17 May?) 1826 CE).
