Scope and Content

This volume contains biographies of poets from the period 1000-1050 AH (1591-1641 CE), compiled by Seyit Mehmet Rıza (Zehrimarzade). The date of completion of the original text (1050 AH) appears in the couplet at the end of the work. This manuscript was likely copied at the end of the 17th or beginning of the 18th centuries CE.
