Scope and Content

This volume contains the following two texts :. ff 1v-9v : Manzume-yi Mi'raciye, a poem by Abdülbaki İbn-i Mehmet Arif on the miraculous ascent of the Prophet Muhammad صلعم. In OM, the date of his death is given as 1225 AH (in error for 1125 AH/1713 CE);. ff 10v-118v : A work by the same author, bearing only the generic title Risale, on theology written at the order of Sultan Mehmet IV and Mustafa Paşa. On ff 119v, the sources of the book are listed. The text contains two unvans. Both texts were copied by Mehmet İbn-i Mustafa el-Filibevi, but only the second one is dated as 1181 AH (1767-68 CE).
