Scope and Content

This volume contains an encyclopaedia by Nev'i Yahya Efendi (died 1007 AH/1598-99 CE) consisting of the following matalıb:. (I) ff 8r-28v : Tarih;. (II) ff 29r-32v : Hikmet;. (III) ff 33r-39r : Heyet;. (IV) ff 39v-44r : Kelam;. (V) ff 44v-47v : Usul;. (VI) ff 48r-51r : Hilaf;. (VII) ff 51v-54r : Tasavvuf;. (VIII) ff 54v-60v : Rakı u efsun;. (IX) ff 61r-68v : Nücum;. (X) ff 77r-93r : Hikayet-i Beşir u Şadan. On the end papers of the manuscript are various notes, largely historical in nature. The manuscript was copied by Eyüp İbnü'l-Şeyh Mehmet el-Rumi in 1009 AH (1600-01 CE) (?).
