Lamert was a surgeon practicing in Manchester in 1841, specialising in the treatment of venereal diseases etc. He qualified LSA in 1833 and practised in London, in particular at the London Hospital. In the 1845 Medical Directory he is listed as Samuel La Mert, practicing in London.
