LRCP LRCS Edin 1884.
Kershaw was born in Mossley in 1860 and studied medicine at Owens College Manchester. He was surgeon on the SS Lassell and RMS Patagonia before settling in general practice in Oldham where he was district medical officer. Kershaw was president of the Oldham Division of BMA.
