MB ChB Edin 1899.

Massey was a pioneer woman doctor in China from 1899 to 1929, where she went with the London Missionary Society. Massey was in charge of the Wuchang Women's Hospital throughout the Boxer Rising. She was from Manchester, but received her medical education at the College for Women in Edinburgh. When Massey returned to England, she settled in Wilmslow, where she died in 1963, aged 89.
