DSc Manch Vict, MD 1920.

Holker was a talented science student at the University of Manchester and was awarded a gold medal for his MD thesis. Holker was a demonstrator at the University and lecturer in Pathology. Holker trained at a number of military hospitals in London and Manchester before being appointed AMO at MRI in 1918, with much experience in the genito-urinary field. He was medical officer in charge of the Venereal Diseases Department at Bury Infirmary. Holker was a member of the Pathological Society of Great Britain and the Biochemical Society.
