MB ChB Manch 1925.

Marshall was educated at Wellington College, Salop before joining the army in 1915. He became a prisoner of war in Germany in 1918, and was demobilised in 1919 with the rank of lieutenant. On his return to England, Marshall gained his medical qualifications at Manchester and was house physician at MRI. He later practised as an ophthalmic surgeon in Reading.
