Nathan Haring was a former student of Owens College, Manchester. He held house appointments at MRI and Ancoats and was a former medical officer for the Chorlton Dispensary. He held appointments at a number of local hospitals including the Manchester Consumption Hospital, Manchester Jewish Hospital and was a consultant physician to the City of Manchester.
